ITV has recommissioned a second series (8 x 60 mins) of Through the Keyhole (produced by Talkback). Series one drew in a top audience of 6.1 million viewers on Saturdays, in autumn 2013.

Through the Keyhole sees the irrepressible Keith Lemon let loose, rummaging around three mystery celebrity houses. Using their powers of observation and the assistance of the studio audience, the all-star panel has to guess which famous face “habitates in a house like this.”

Louis Walsh, Mary Berry, Kelly Hoppen, Daryl Hannah, Louis Smith, John Prescott and Greg Rutherford were amongst the stars in the first series that opened up their homes. In the studio each week, a different celebrity panel were tasked with identifying them, with Jonathan Ross, Emma Bunton, Terry Wogan, Cath Tyldesley and Cilla Black amongst those joining in the fun and playing the guessing game.

Through the Keyhole is commissioned by Director of Comedy and Entertainment, Elaine Bedell, and Comedy Entertainment Commissioning Editor, Claire Zolkwer.  The Executive Producers are Leon Wilson and Meriel Beale, and the Series Producer is Arron Ferster.

Director of Comedy and Entertainment at ITV, Elaine Bedell said, "Through the Keyhole was a brilliant comedy entertainment hit for us last autumn, and we're really looking forward to Keith poking around more celebrity pads, plus more in studio fun, with series two."

Keith Lemon commented, “Can't wait t' start through t’keyhole again. I can't fink of what’s suitable to describe my excitement but it is the same excitement I have when I'm participating in extreme sports or making sweet, sweet love to a beautiful woman.”

Executive Producer, Talkback, Leon Wilson said, “Through the Keyhole is a much loved show, so we’re thrilled ITV audiences have taken the new format and Keith to their hearts and that ITV have ordered a second series.”
