Fremantle’s Talkback hires Kate Edmunds as Director of Programmes

Talkback MD Jonno Richards today announces that Kate Edmunds will join the Fremantle UK label as Director of Programmes, where she will oversee comedy & entertainment projects. Kate joins from Tiger Aspect where she was their Director of Development. Kate previously worked at Talkback as Executive Producer on Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier, her other credits include The Last Leg, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Alan Carr: Chatty Man.

Talkback is known for its rich history in comedy and entertainment programming. Most recently, the team produced the Netflix global hit Too Hot to Handle, plus ITV ratings winners Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow & Harry’s Heroes. Kate joins the Talkback Creative Leadership team alongside Laura Gibson (Creative Director), Charlie Bennett (Director of Development) and Ceri Jones (Head of Factual Entertainment).
